NFP - MSP individual scholarships
NFP and MSP are scholarship programmes to help reduce the shortage of skilled workers or support democratic transition in specific countries.
The Netherlands Fellowship Programme (NFP)
The Netherlands Fellowship Programmes (NFP) aim to help reduce the shortage of skilled workers in 50 countries:
The programmes are initiated and fully funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs from the budget for development cooperation.
The NFP individual fellowships are available for specific programmes which are either:
- Short courses
- Master’s degree programmes
- PhD studies
The eligible programmes are all offered by Dutch higher education institutions. You can find the eligible courses be in our study programmes database at: www.studyfinder.nl.
MENA Scholarship Programme (MSP)
The aim of the MSP is to contribute to the democratic transition in the participating countries. The programme also helps build capacity within organisations by enabling employees to take part in short courses in various fields of study.
The MSP offers around 140 short course scholarships a year to professionals from 10 countries in the MENA region.
The programme targets professionals aged up to 45 who are nationals of and working in one of the ten selected countries. The scholarships can be used for selected short courses in the Netherlands.
